Summary of Role:
The Technology Architecture and Competitiveness Structural Analysis (TAC_SA) team is seeking a 2027 New College Graduate to support technology competitiveness through reverse engineering analysis, design compaction innovation, design migration techniques, and technology definition optimization. The selected candidate will collaborate with design, lab, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver market insights and technology improvement opportunities.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Drive reverse engineering analysis and investigations while coordinating with teardown support and lab teams; provide reports supporting market and competitive analysis.
Support design team needs using design migration tools and methodologies, including opportunities to apply AI-enabled coding and automation solutions.
Perform data collection, analysis, and visualization activities supporting technology benchmarking and structural analysis projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to evaluate technology scaling, design optimization opportunities, and competitiveness initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduating with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Travel - Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Understanding of fundamental semiconductor device operation, basic circuit design, semiconductor processing technology, and related design rules.
Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, KLayout, Calibre, statistical methods, Python, or other programming languages.

Expected Salary Range
$69,300.00 - $114,300.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
