Technical Specialist - Kyriba

Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Kyriba Specialist with strong hands-on technical skills and deep functional understanding of treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing Kyriba modules, while also being able to lead small workstreams, guide analysts, and partner closely with business stakeholders. 

This role requires a blend of technical capability, treasury domain expertise, analytical thinking, and cross-functional coordination. 

Key Responsibilities 

Kyriba Platform Implementation & Support 

• Configure, customize, and maintain Kyriba modules (Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity, Bank Connectivity, Risk, etc.) 

• Lead integration efforts between Kyriba and ERP systems, banking platforms, and internal applications 

• Manage data flows, file formats (SWIFT/ISO20022), SFTP connections, and payment formats 

• Support treasury teams in day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes 

Functional & Domain Expertise 

• Understand global treasury functions — cash forecasting, liquidity planning, payments, risk, compliance 

• Own solution design discussions and translate business requirements into Kyriba configuration 

• Drive process improvements across cash visibility, reporting automation, banking workflows, and reconciliation 

Technical Delivery 

• Work closely with development teams to support API integration, automation, data mapping, and reporting enhancements 

• Hands-on exposure to SQL, scripts, dashboarding tools, or integration middleware preferred 

• Manage release cycles, UAT, change requests, and functional documentation 

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement 

• Act as SME working with Finance, Treasury, Banking partners, IT, and Kyriba support teams 

• Lead vendor/consultant interactions and track deliverables & SLAs 

• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and onboarding for new team members 

Leadership & People Management 

• Mentor junior analysts and guide internal teams technically & functionally 

• Lead smaller delivery workstreams or initiatives independently 

• Represent the platform in governance forums, architecture discussions, and audit controls 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 12–15 years total experience with 5+ years core Kyriba hands-on exposure 

• Experience implementing/configuring Kyriba modules end-to-end 

• Strong understanding of global treasury operations and banking workflows 

• Experience with bank connectivity, SWIFT, ISO formats, Host-to-Host, API integrations 

• Technical ability in SFTP, data mapping, file formats, automation, reporting 

• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Workday Financials preferred) 

• Excellent communication skills with ability to partner with finance leaders 

• Ability to lead workstreams and guide junior resources (formal or informal)
