Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract)

Artefactus
135 W 26th Street, New York, NY 10001 Remote Mid Level HR

Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly and hiring needs evolve alongside business growth?

Join Artefact, a global data and AI consulting firm helping organizations turn data into business impact. With 2,000+ employees across 34 offices worldwide, we partner with leading organizations such as Samsung, L'Oréal, and LVMH to accelerate digital transformation through data and AI.

As Artefact continues to grow across the US and Canada, we're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract) to help us identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across consulting and technical disciplines.

This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who can move quickly, source creatively, partner closely with hiring managers, and maintain a high hiring bar in a competitive market. You'll own searches from intake through offer, build strong candidate pipelines, and help ensure a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

As the organization continues to scale, this role may also contribute to broader talent acquisition initiatives, including campus recruiting, talent pipelining, workforce planning, and recruiting process improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake and sourcing through screening, interview management, offer support, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers and chapter leads to understand hiring priorities, define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and develop effective search strategies
  • Recruit across consulting and technical disciplines, including AI, data science, analytics, data engineering, machine learning, and other specialized roles
  • Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, direct outreach, referrals, market mapping, and other sourcing channels
  • Conduct candidate screenings and assess experience, capabilities, and overall fit against role requirements
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication, timely follow-up, and efficient process management
  • Develop market intelligence on talent pools, competitor organizations, candidate motivations, and sourcing channels to improve recruiting outcomes
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, candidate records, and pipeline reporting to support visibility and decision-making
  • Own and enforce recruiting processes while identifying opportunities to improve workflows, tools, reporting, and overall recruiting effectiveness

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a consulting or professional services environment
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for both consulting and technical roles, including AI, data, analytics, engineering, or other specialized technical positions
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, or evolving environment where priorities shift quickly and recruiters are expected to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong hands-on sourcing experience, including proactive outreach, market mapping, pipeline development, referrals, and passive candidate engagement
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining quality, speed, and attention to detail
  • Strong hiring manager partnership skills, including the ability to advise, calibrate, influence, and keep searches moving forward
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Experience working with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruiting platforms, and reporting tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset with sound judgment, resilience, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Contract Details

  • Contract position
  • 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs
  • Up to $60/hour
  • Remote or hybrid, depending on location
