This role will lead all critical mission planning and mission execution efforts and will directly communicate with the range.
This position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.
What You'll Get to Do:
Serve as Mission Manager for the program moonlight requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
Possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level GMD booster and mission specific requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities.
Create new system requirements and manages requirement changes in the Requirements Management databases working effectively with IPT leaders, team members, and government customers.
Possess a strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously and possess demonstrated mentoring/training skills.
Create and manage both original and revised specification/interface definition documents and coordinates document approval through peer review and signature process.
Implement and manage system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS).
Provide data for and assists in risk management (identifies potential risk) and trade study processes.
Manage aspects of system design, analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations.
Participate in the creation of and manages changes to system or subsystem analytical models.
Interface with IPT engineering staff as required.
Prepare and present materials at major milestone meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of related experience or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
Experience developing requirements and designing missions without customer directed requirements
Experience with requirements decomposition and allocation
Experience is mission timelines and mission CONOPs
Experience with range safety data products
Preferred Qualifications:
Willingness to work fast paced development programs
Ability to travel
Experience leading within an IPT organization as a lead or a SME
System testing and launch operations experience is desired
Previous Cost Account Management experience is desired
Systems Engineering Experience working with development programs is desired

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
