Northrop Grumman Space Sector is currently seeking a Sr Principal or Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist - Level 3 or Level 4 to work onsite at our facility located in Promontory, UT.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the receipt, delivery and inspection of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services.
  • Provides packaging engineering support, special container design, packaging estimates and format quotes.
  • Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering.
  • Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records.
  • Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment and primary or subsidiary contract partners.
  • Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manages, develops or carries out delivery in accordance with all established business policies, procedures and public law.
  • Ensures accuracy of delivery information.
  • Ensures: finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel.
  • Understand and comply with all material requirements and specs; including but not limited to frozen, or otherwise temperature controlled and hazmat substances.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, logistics, procurement, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
  • Level 4: Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, logistics, procurement, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
  • In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relatable business experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and/or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analytics
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment and decision-making skills based on a clear understanding and application of government regulations to international trade activity
  • Current/Active US Government security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
