The Compliance Associate Director role offers a high visibility opportunity to lead risk mitigation activities for Raytheon’s Supply Chain Finance organization. The role sits at the intersection of the Supply Chain function, Accounting, and Finance, and is responsible for proactively ensuring compliance across finance-related supply chain activities such as PBP plans, payment terms exceptions, inventory compliance, etc. This leader will also monitor key risk metrics such as input material inflation and supplier financial health, among others. The role is also responsible for driving compliance process optimization and alignment across related functions.
The individual in this role is expected to drive a compliance-forward business culture while reducing process friction and strengthening operational governance. This role requires the highest degree of personal integrity, a deep understanding of compliance and accounting principles, and the initiative to proactively identify and mitigate risks in support of Raytheon’s mission.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or related fields as well as experience building teams. Candidates should also be comfortable with executive communication as well as change management and building / enhancing business processes and tools.
What You Will Do
Champion a compliance-first business culture
Drive alignment between Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance to support streamlined, optimized compliance processes
Monitor upcoming PBP plans ensuring documentation and compliance issues are addressed in partnership with Accounting and Procurement
Review payment‑terms exceptions requests, evaluating business benefit and associated cash flow implications
Conduct supplier credit‑risk and health assessments as part of GMRE and supplier master data management
Monitor input material inflation exposure driving mitigations as appropriate in partnership with Supply Chain, program teams, Estimating & Pricing, and SBU Finance
Track inventory balances including MMAS compliance. Coordinate the sale of excess inventory when and where appropriate
Monthly tracking of Supply Chain AR / CFR compliance related information – impairments, residual inventory, funding limits, etc
Monitor government property compliance and support audit engagements
Assess financial implications of supplier claims and REAs in partnership with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Legal
Must be able to influence without authority and build consensus among executive-level stakeholders
Must demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, proactively identifying compliance risks, actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and support organizational transformation
Comfortable designing / improving compliance processes and inserting them into upstream Supply Chain activities in partnership with functional stakeholders
Demonstrate a commitment to Raytheon’s mission by strengthening compliance rigor, reducing organizational risk, and enabling the business to operate with confidence and integrity
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Experience supporting audit, compliance, or related organizations
Experience with GAAP, inventory valuation, and government‑related compliance requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and executive communication skills
Higher education in Finance, business, or related field
Experience supporting MMAS, government property, or audit‑related activities
ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred)
Background in supplier credit analysis, risk management, or regulatory compliance
Experience in defense‑industry financial controls

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
