The IT Informatica Solution Architect plays a key role in Micron’s enterprise data transformation initiatives by enabling accurate, governed, and scalable master data processes across PLM, SAP, Informatica MDM (IDMC), and Enterprise systems. In this role, the individual is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Informatica MDM solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and performant data services. The individual will contribute across the full software development lifecycle i.e., analyzing requirements, designing architecture, developing solutions, and supporting ongoing enhancements. The position requires strong functional and technical expertise, with the ability to integrate multiple technologies and deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions while minimizing defects, downtime, and performance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Informatica MDM/IDMC solutions across Customer, Supplier, Product, and Bill of Materials domains.
- Align MDM capabilities with enterprise data strategy, governance objectives, and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
- Drive modernization through Informatica IDMC technologies, including CDI, CAI, CDQ, APIs, and related integration services.
- Partner with business collaborators, product owners, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality data solutions.
- Develop data models, hierarchies, relationships, and reference data while establishing matching, merging, survivorship, and data quality processes.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts, feasibility assessments, and create architecture documentation to support solution design and implementation.
- Support third-party solution integration, vendor coordination, delivery across multiple functions, and continuous improvement of performance, quality, and governance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, including Customer 360, Product 360, Supplier 360, and Business 360.
- Strong expertise in Informatica MDM and IDMC components, including APIs, CDI, CAI, CDQ, and CDP.
- Proven experience configuring and managing Secure Agent environments in cloud-based integrations.
- Deep knowledge of Master Data Management across Product, Customer, Supplier, and Bill of Materials (BOM) domains.
- Hands-on experience developing and optimizing complex multi-system data pipelines, integrations, and MDM performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and Agentic AI concepts and applications.
- Experience designing scalable, integrated enterprise data and MDM architectures.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across business and IT teams.
- Proven track record delivering at least two end-to-end MDM implementations while maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and operational stability.
