This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

In this job, you will:
Serve as the primary manufacturing liaison to operational management for the development and execution of the manufacturing strategy.
Lead product development and manufacturing activities within the assigned work cell, including conducting review sessions with internal and external customers to address technical, cost, and schedule performance.
Assess project and technical issues, develops action plans, and drives resolutions to achieve productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction objectives.
Develop mechanisms to monitor project progress through automation and leads intervention and problem-solving efforts in collaboration with program managers, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
Coordinate and lead proposal preparation; develops and reviews all manufacturing Basis of Estimate (BOE) justifications; and oversees material planning and production scheduling for all phases of production through delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related experience – OR – Master’s degree with 10 years of related experience – OR – PhD with 8 years of professional experience.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
10 years experience in Project/Program Management or related discipline
Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement
Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems with limited resources in a timely manner
Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government security clearance of Secret or above
Manufacturing experience of defense related products
Continuous improvement techniques – Six Sigma, Kaizen, LEAN, Red X, etc.
Proposal creation and labor estimating
Experience with data mining/manipulation & presentation

We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off)

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
