The Electrical Analysis - Northeast section of the Materials & Process Engineering Department is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Sr. Technical Support Coordinator. This position will support programs and their mission of performing electrical component evaluations and root cause failure analysis.  This position requires technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.  Tasks include data entry of engineering work, organization of laboratory task flow, maintaining part trending, producing metrics, and gathering drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.

What You Will Do

  • Performing data entry to log in all incoming work for the entire section

  • Administrator for our database which contains historical technical work

  • Lead the Part Recovery and Trending operation

  • Lead and support the Incoming Inspection process

  • Coordinate transportation of hardware between labs

  • Coordinate transportation of hardware back to customers

  • Provide and maintain metrics

  • Coordinate and track procurement requests

  • Track metrology of required test equipment and provide metrics

  • Participating in lab audits

  • Help promote lab run rules

  • Maintain an inventory of all lab equipment

  • Maintain chemical inventory for the section

  • Maintain an inventory of available test fixtures

  • Maintain and organize recipes for our Destructive Physical Analysis process

  • Maintain and organize test instructions for the section

The Sr. Technical Support Coordinator job is in Andover, MA​ and the position is onsite.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent
    experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience in OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations

  • Experience in EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with spreadsheets and maintaining metrics

  • Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management

  • Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
