Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory)
The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory) supporting the modernization and operations of the Distributed Ground System (DGS) at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate a virtualized data center environment utilizing VMware and Dell/EMC server and storage technologies.
Install, support, and maintain servers—including performance tuning, system-wide configuration, and storage allocation.
Protect system integrity, confidentiality, and availability through robust patch management, antivirus oversight, and data backup/restoration.
Diagnose and resolve service outages, technical inquiries, and system-related issues.
Conduct system analysis and implement updates to keep technologies modern and effective.
Perform routine system health checks across processes, services, networks, and storage.
Update documentation, support configuration management, and resolve reported issues.
Partner with the security team on upgrades, compliance, and system security initiatives.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support personnel.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant IT/System Administration experience
Security+ certification
Experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft Server 2019, Microsoft Windows 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, or VMware
