UnspecifiedThis role supports manufacturing project execution by applying engineering and manufacturing knowledge to production planning, process improvement, capacity and demand analysis, and cost and productivity initiatives. The position contributes to the successful execution of project and production objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams across departments and sites in support of aerospace manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do
Accountable for Work Transfer project execution plans within Operations/Manufacturing; provides feedback on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply constraints, schedules, and staffing requirements to meet project objectives.
Provides focus to the production team to execute to quality, schedule, and cost expectations.
Implements given operating plans and operating budget, including priorities, production schedules, staffing plans, and budget targets.
Implements specific components of quality improvement and Lean Manufacturing programs.
Supports cost and waste reduction within production and improves productivity by implementing best practices.
Implements given schedules and expenditure constraints for direct and indirect labor and may plan staffing and labor details around given priorities.
Enables cross-functional communication across departments and sites.
Analyzes demand data using Excel, including the creation of tables and PivotTables.
Communicates in English and Spanish with corporate leaders through in-person meetings, presentations, reports, and written correspondence.
May be required to travel occasionally to the United States to support business needs.

Product phases and requirements for transferring production cells between sites.
Capacity analysis tools and methods.
Process improvement methodologies and their application in manufacturing operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of prior relevant experience. Requires at least 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in assembly operations.
Experience in project management.
Experience using Lean Manufacturing.
Proficient Conversational and written English required.
