Sr. Oracle 19c SQL Developer/DBA - Windows 2019/2022 Platform/Analytics
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle 19c SQL Developer & Database Administrator to support the Aviation Cost Evaluation System (ACES). This role is hands-on and requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a remote, team‑oriented environment. You will support large Oracle database environments, develop and maintain complex database objects, and ensure the integrity, performance, and security of ACES systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle 19c database architecture, schemas, and objects.
Perform analysis and design of business applications for large-scale Oracle systems.
Create and modify stored procedures, packages, queries, views, functions, triggers, and tables in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Manage Oracle installation, patching, maintenance, security configurations, privileges, and data integrity controls.
Compile schemas, create synonyms and permissions, and apply Oracle software patches as required.
Conduct quality assurance testing and review work products for accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Perform advanced data manipulation using modern storage and retrieval techniques.
Document all database activities, including ERDs, flowcharts, specifications, and updates.
Ensure Oracle STIG compliance across development and data servers.
Communicate technical issues, updates, recommendations, and reports clearly across organizational levels.
Lead small groups and manage multiple tasks in a hands-on technical environment.
Learn ACES functional concepts, business processes, and practical use of all ACES applications.
Support software applications hosted on servers interfacing with Oracle databases.
Qualifications:
Required:
Strong Oracle SQL development background supporting large, complex Oracle RDBMS environments.
Experience designing and developing database architecture and objects in Oracle 19c.
Demonstrated ability to manage Oracle databases, instances, security tasks, indexing, and data integrity.
Proven experience supporting software applications that interact with Oracle databases.
Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle database designer and developer (DDL/DML).
Minimum 7 years of Oracle database management experience, including installation, patching, security, data integrity, and import/export operations.
Oracle Database Administrator certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional training.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
Desired:
Experience supporting Naval Aviation Oracle RDBMS environments.
Ability to lead small technical teams and manage complex tasks independently.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized work style.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
