1st Shift Schedule:

  • This position is for 1st shift

  • Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You Will Do:

  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials, property and misc. items on and off incoming trucks or vehicles: within the plant, in associated warehouses and other offsite locations. The method of movement can be: Powered Industrial Vehicles (fork-truck, electric picker, etc.), electric or manual pallet jack, carts, and other similar material handling equipment. Sr Material Operators also serve as spotters for material handlers and material packers. 
  • Loads and unloads material onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, carts, shelves or other similar staging and movement equipment. Sr Material Operators become proficient in material management processes, procedures, and industry best practices applicable to the protection and preservation of material and customer owned product from deterioration and/or physical damage. The method of movement can be: manual physical movement, fork-truck, electric or manual pallet jack, lift-carts and overhead hoists or cranes.
  • Opens containers, cartons, wood crates, bundles, or other similar items using hand tools such as steel cutters, crowbars, claw hammer, drills, knives or other similar hand tools.  
  • Identifies and validates material and property identification and quantities against documentation and/or systems information and may be required to replace the packing material to reclose the container, carton, crate the material in which the material was received. This task will be done at the onset of a task as well as throughout each step of the functional task. 
  • Lift up to 28 pounds
  • Work from elevated platforms and climb stairs. 
  • Reach above shoulders, below knees, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel.
  • Sorts and prioritizes mail and materials for processing based on established priorities within each Logistics functional area.
  • Identifies and reports any obvious damage to materials and property in any Logistics functional area.
  • Performs duties as directed by the supervisor.

What You Will Learn

  • Perform systems movements, transactions and updates utilizing enterprise system tools including SAP, Prism, Fiori, and any other systems that become available to the business.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Work experience in the core Logistics functions of Receiving, Warehousing, and Material Delivery. 
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to collect data, prepare, and maintain records using written or electronic media as required or directed by supervisor. 
  • Ability to obtain to drive Company-owned or rented Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), Straight truck, or Motor vehicle.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • ​Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Florida driver's license
