We are seeking a diligent and detailed-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring repeatability and reliability of the testing results for PDK development and customer testing service. You will be responsible for establishing test plans and procedures. You will work closely with designers, to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues through the development lifecycle.

Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detailed-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring repeatability and reliability of the testing results for PDK development and customer testing service.  You will be responsible for establishing test plans and procedures. You will work closely with designers, to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues through the development lifecycle.

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible to test and characterize optoelectronics devices at chip level and wafer level by following process documentation and equipment operating instructions.
  • Analysis the data, generate the test reports with measurement results and hold reviews with related stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance test setups as well as liaise with vendors to do the calibration.
  • Support the adaptation of equipment from hands-on process measurement to high-volume automatic manufacturing test platforms
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure device meets specification and verify device's performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of test instruments for optical and electrical test.
  • Preferred hands-on experience in optoelectronics test engineering and high-volume manufacturing
  • Strong self-motivation and interest in optoelectronics
  • Excellent problems solving skills and good at data review and summary.
  • Preferred Good Knowledge in programming, e.g., C/C++, Matlab, Labview, and Python.
  • Excellent data analysis, solid statistical skills, teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills
