Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field and 15+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required
  • US Citizenship required
  • Understand the Software development life cycle (including front and back end)
  • AWS Experience (CDK, SAM, EKS)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and common frontend frameworks such as Angular, React and Svelte
  • Backend development experience with common languages like Python, Java, Node.JS, C++, GO, Rust, etc.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying and managing AI applications
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases, and message passing middleware such as Redis and Kafka
  • Demonstrated experience using rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologies
  • Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to problems
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret or TS-SCI clearance with polygraph


Desired:

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts
  • An understanding of Gen AI tools, techniques, and platforms.
  • Experience with deployment/scaling of machine learning models
  • Experience integrating multiple applications
  • Experience with development in microservice based architectures
  • Experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in various Government agencies
  • Experience building scalable solutions to mission problems
  • AWS API experience
  • AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.)
  • Security+ Certification
  • Active and current Top Secret or TS-SCI clearance, preferably with a recent polygraph

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$126,100 - 277,300 USD
