We are seeking a Software Engineer, DevSecOps professional to join our team who brings strong problem‑solving skills, technical capability, and a collaborative mindset. You will independently contribute to pipeline development, automation, containerization, and environment configuration. The role requires hands‑on experience with CI/CD, modern tooling, scripting, and integration patterns. You will improve delivery processes, reduces manual effort, and strengthens our DSO capabilities across complex systems.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, packaging, and deployment.
  • Integrate modern DevSecOps tools, services, and automation into pipelines to increase reliability and speed.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance automation and software delivery workflows.
  • Develop robust scripting and automation utilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring optimized, scalable deployments.
  • Apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles to create repeatable, version‑controlled environment configurations.
  • Support SBOM generation, security scanning workflows, and broader cybersecurity compliance.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline integration, modernize legacy deployments, and improve software quality.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in software development with secure coding practices.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development environments.
  • Knowledge of software security principles, risk mitigation, and vulnerability management.
  • Linux, scripting (Python, Perl, Shell).
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Cloud.
  • Experience in cryptographic system design and implementation.
  • Exposure to system engineering principles and full software lifecycle execution.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Coverity.
