Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Business Process Analyst or Principal Business Process Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be supporting the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. 

This requisition may be filled at level 2 or level 3.

 What you will get to do:

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Control user access as a EVM system administrator and monitor system performance

• Coordinate with technical business partners to schedule and oversee software patches and upgrades

• Document design, deployment and operating procedures for each workflow and data pipeline

• Perform miscellaneous data analysis to support real-time decision-making

• Work with peers and business partners to identify workflows or processes where automation can improve efficiency and/or reduce costs

• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend resolutions for program workflows

• Support multiple priorities against ambitious timelines

• Research, evaluate, and determine best fit of tools and techniques for data mapping, data mining, data transformation, and data integration

• Develop complex queries or routines to extract data from disparate sources

• Consult with stakeholders to define data needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions

• Support cross-team development efforts for multiple projects, including data cleanup, ingestion, and linkage with other data sets

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years OR a Master's degree with 0 years’ professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business-related experience

  • Work experience with querying, scripting, and automation (Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, Power BI/Dax)

  • Working knowledge of one or more of these database systems: Oracle, MySQL, SQLite

  • Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and developing a process to meet those requirements Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years OR a Master's degree with 3 years’ professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business-related experience

  • Work experience with querying, scripting, and automation (Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, Power BI/Dax)

  • Working knowledge of one or more of these database systems: Oracle, MySQL, SQLite

  • Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and developing a process to meet those requirements

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience drafting and maintaining workflow/data pipeline documentation

  • Experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Acumen Fuse, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)

  • Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) techniques and frameworks experience Experience in a DoD EMD environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex workflows and data pipelines

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
