CACI is seeking an experienced Sensor Integration Engineer, Senior to support the integration of advanced sensing technologies into logistics and operational environments across the Indo-Pacific. The Sensor Integration Engineer, Senior serves as CACI's systems and software engineering professional responsible for designing, integrating, testing, and sustaining sensor technologies that enhance asset visibility, infrastructure monitoring, environmental awareness, predictive logistics, and operational decision-making. Reporting directly to the Platform Integration Lead, this position enables the deployment of innovative sensing capabilities supporting Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs), Intermediate Staging Bases (ISBs), expeditionary infrastructure, and distributed logistics operations.

The Sensor Integration Engineer works closely with Government stakeholders, systems engineers, software developers, network engineers, logistics planners, data engineers, cybersecurity specialists, operational planners, coalition partners, and mission partners to integrate edge sensors with enterprise systems, automate data collection, and improve operational awareness. This position contributes to successful program execution by increasing logistics visibility, enhancing predictive analytics, and improving mission effectiveness throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, integrate, configure, test, and sustain sensor technologies supporting logistics, infrastructure, and operational monitoring.

  • Integrate IoT devices, RFID readers, environmental sensors, GPS tracking systems, and edge sensing platforms into enterprise logistics architectures.

  • Develop interface requirements, integration plans, technical architectures, and deployment strategies supporting sensor-enabled operations.

  • Coordinate with systems engineers, software developers, network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and logistics planners to ensure seamless sensor integration.

  • Support installation, configuration, testing, calibration, and field validation of sensor systems across JTDCs, ISBs, warehouses, ports, airfields, and expeditionary sites.

  • Troubleshoot sensor hardware, communications interfaces, software integration issues, and data collection anomalies.

  • Support integration of sensor data into enterprise analytics platforms, asset visibility systems, dashboards, and operational decision support tools.

  • Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, executive-level briefings, integration plans, and system performance assessments.

  • Support technology demonstrations, operational exercises, humanitarian assistance missions, disaster response, and contingency operations.

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense engineering standards, cybersecurity policies, interoperability requirements, and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain system configurations, engineering drawings, interface control documents, and knowledge management repositories.

  • Coordinate with commercial vendors, Government laboratories, coalition partners, and mission stakeholders supporting sensor modernization initiatives.

  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians while promoting engineering excellence and continuous innovation.

  • Identify emerging sensing technologies that improve logistics automation, infrastructure resilience, and operational effectiveness.

  • Support geographically dispersed and expeditionary operations requiring resilient sensing and monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting systems engineering, sensor integration, systems integration, networked technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), or operational technology for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience integrating sensors, communications systems, enterprise software, or operational technology into mission environments.

  • Experience preparing engineering documentation, technical reports, system integration plans, and executive briefings.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical integration efforts supporting complex operational systems and distributed environments.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), Joint Task Forces, or Defense innovation organizations.

  • Experience utilizing Azure IoT, MQTT, REST APIs, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ArcGIS, RFID technologies, SmarTrack, and edge computing platforms.

  • Knowledge of systems integration principles, IoT architectures, sensor communications protocols, cybersecurity requirements, cloud integration, predictive analytics, and Department of Defense digital modernization initiatives.

  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent engineering and information technology certifications are preferred.
