The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Product Owner to join our Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team in Hazelwood, MO.

The role offers a unique opportunity to lead efforts in lab testing, requirements development, and advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices. By driving system integration, testing, and verification, the Senior Systems Engineer will ensure seamless performance and adherence to stringent customer standards while collaborating with a diverse group of talented software developers, test engineers, and external partners. Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain product roadmaps and system lifecycle plans
Develop, document, and verify requirements
Develop project schedules and track performance
Develop and organize work items for the software team
Be responsible for the integration of the components of the GVHMS system to successfully meet customer requirements
Coordinate with the customer on a regular basis
Document team plans and status, develop meeting agendas and presentations
Analyze process compliance and actively work on improvements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree
Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret- Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start
14+ years of experience have in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)
3+ years of experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience of Agile Development
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by influence
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
