We are seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join one of our Prime Contracts supporting the Government's Corporate Management Services (CMS) organization. In this role, you will help design, modernize, secure, and sustain the enterprise applications and platforms that keep the organization operating every day. Working alongside experts in software engineering, cloud computing, DevSecOps, systems engineering, user experience, and enterprise platforms, you'll help modernize legacy systems, automate business processes, integrate commercial technologies, and deliver innovate solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the user experience.

We are seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications delivering mission-critical capabilities across Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L). The selected candidate will play a key role supporting multiple Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products used to manage enterprise business functions including asset management, facilities, transportation, and other corporate services.
This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across multiple technologies, products, and technical disciplines. The primary focus will be supporting development activities, including integration of the IBM Maximo product with other enterprise applications. The engineer will support a diverse portfolio of both Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) enterprise applications utilizing a variety of modern and legacy technology stacks. Depending on the product, responsibilities may include application configuration, full-stack development, system integrations, cloud modernization efforts, and production sustainment. Success in this role require technical versatility, curiosity, and the ability to quickly adapt to new products, technologies, and mission priorities.
The selected candidate will work closely with Government Product Leads, vendors, developers, system engineers, and end users to implement, configure, develop, integrate, sustain, modernize, and enhance enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include implementing and customizing COTS solutions, developing and enhancing GOTS applications, troubleshooting complex production issues, supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives, and delivering innovative technical solutions that improve mission effectiveness. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, collaborating across diverse technical teams, and leveraging a broad technical skillset to solve complex business and operational challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the sustainment, modernization, and enhancement of multiple enterprise COTS and GOTS applications supporting Infrastructure & Logistics mission areas.
- Serve as the primary software integration engineer supporting the IBM Maximo product along with additional enterprise applications across the portfolio as mission priorities require.
- Configure, implement, and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities while developing custom solutions and integrations when required to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate technical solutions, and deliver enhancements.
- Perform application configuration, software deployment, system integration, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Support application implementations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud modernization efforts, including code modifications where required.
- Develop and maintain integrations utilizing REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Analyze system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and proactively resolve technical issues before they impact users.
- Produce level-of-effort estimates for customer requests and assist with prioritization and release planning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Work directly with commercial software vendors to troubleshoot product issues, evaluate new capabilities, coordinate upgrades, and implement vendor-provided solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, implementation procedures, and operational documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the team while promoting engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular
- Familiarity with ASP.NET
- Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with external systems.
- Experience developing in the Linux operating system
- Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management
- Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise application environments.
- Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise COTS applications.
- Experience supporting enterprise software throughout the application lifecycle including implementation, sustainment, upgrades, and modernization.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers, vendors, and technical teams.
- Must be willing to work the core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud migration or cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.
- Experience with application integrations, APIs, middleware, or enterprise service architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server database administration or development.
- Experience working with multiple technology stacks and rapidly learning new technologies.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
