The Opportunity
Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager Clinical Research.
As a Senior Project Manager Clinical Research, you will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex clinical research programs and studies through cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and company objectives. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to successfully drive clinical programs from study initiation through completion.
What You’ll Work On
- Responsible for development and execution of detailed project plans to achieve overall program goals.
- Lead, coordinate and/or participate on cross-functional team activities from Concept Phase through Product Launch Phase.
- Responsible and accountable for meeting program development requirements, meeting program cost goals, quality objectives and time-to-market objectives.
- Analyze complex problems including those related to project risks. identify their impact. establish probabilities.
- Responsible for completing documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business and quality standards. Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Travel up to 20% of the time domestically and may include international to support organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree Preferably in Engineering, Science or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 8-10 years experience with complex, technical program or project management to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position. Equivalent experience (Min 10+ yrs) and some education will be considered.
- Competent in project planning and management with strong decision-making, problem-solving, using demonstrated good judgment and skill to prioritize.
- Working knowledge of new product development methodologies is helpful with ability to be creative in achieving objectives while assuring compliance to internal and external requirements.
- Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of and adherence to a schedule.
- Aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data that involves multiple competing factors.
- Proficient in forming and developing interpersonal and professional relationships.
- Competent to work independently and in groups to include working cross-functionally.
- Experience in using various types of databases and other computer software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters’ Degree preferred.

The base pay for this position is
