We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of Senior Principal Test Software Architect located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves working in a lab environment with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter. The Test Solutions organization within RTX drives business success by providing a variety of critical engineering services across product lines and functions.
This position is 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do:
Lead a team of software architects and developers in the development of common software applications and libraries
Identify test software harmonization opportunities across Raytheon
Collaborate with functional leadership to identify common test software opportunities
Up to 25% domestic travel
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience developing applications in the .NET environment, preferably in C# or C/C++.
A minimum of five (5) years working in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments.
Experience leading the development of the software architecture for factory test software in an MBSE environment of software developers in the development of factory test software applications and tools.
Experience leading and collaborating in teams of multi-disciplined engineers.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
Certifications in architecture development.
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
Experience with Agile Process and gate reviews.
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Agile Methodologies understanding.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
