The Opportunity: 

  • Join a fast-paced Agile team delivering mission-critical geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) capabilities supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). 

  • Serve as a core member of the platform team building and operating the cloud-native infrastructure that development teams rely on every day. 

  • Work hands-on with Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code in a large-scale, security-focused environment. 

  • Enable multiple Agile development teams to deliver secure, high-quality software that directly supports national security objectives. 

This position is contingent upon contract award.

 
Responsibilities: 

  • Build, operate, and maintain containerized platform services using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies. 

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, test, and deployment across multiple development teams. 

  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. 

  • Implement platform monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure availability and performance. 

  • Apply security hardening, patching, and compliance controls across platform components. 

  • Support development team onboarding, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of platform services. 

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate platform enablers with cross-functional teams. 

 
Qualifications: 
Required: 

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted). 

  • 5+ years of platform, infrastructure, or software engineering experience. 

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, OpenShift, or similar). 

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). 

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools. 

  • Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Python, Bash). 


Desired: 

  • Experience with OpenShift in a government or IC environment. 

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, C2S) and DevSecOps practices. 

  • Experience operating within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
