The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services team:
The Enterprise Services Procurement team is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead a team of talented procurement professionals across a variety of commodities to support RTX. The successful candidate will supervise a virtual team responsible for the procurement of various goods and services across many commodities in support of the businesses.
What You Will Do
Execute long-term strategy and vision through team leadership and collaboration.
Develop strategies and leverage metrics to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Provide daily leadership, direction, workload management, and escalation support for Procurement teams.
Serve as an escalation point and trusted business partner for customers and stakeholders, resolving complex issues and identifying solutions.
Assess performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and development to support career progression and talent retention.
Ensure purchase order documentation aligns with work instructions, policies, practices, and procedures.
Influence stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and consistency in Procurement practices.
Streamline processes, remove barriers, and improve internal customer support while reducing cost impacts.
Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, innovation, and high-performance culture across teams.
Lead change management and transformation initiatives while motivating teams to achieve business objectives.
Track, analyze, and present projects and team metrics to leadership and drive accountability for results.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of previous supervisory experience leading a team of professionals
- Experience working in supply chain compliance, procurement, and supplier management
Qualifications We Prefer
- Working knowledge of RTX’s various supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tools
- Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR along with experience negotiating terms and conditions
- Highly organized and can effectively balance competing priorities with strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop compliant and sustainable solutions. Data-driven approach with significant experience using metrics to drive performance.
- Outstanding communication, strong presentation, and keen attention to detail. Self-starter with excellent customer relationship/interpersonal skills who can develop effective networks with internal and external customers

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Farmington, CT, Cedar Rapids, IA, Andover, MA, McKinney, TX or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
