About the Role

As Senior Manager Procurement – Contracts within the Procurement Strategic Enablement (PSE) organization at HP, you will lead a global team responsible for helping HP secure the agreements that underpin its supplier relationships and supply strategy. Your team will support HP's Procurement activities across Direct, Indirect, and Logistics spend, ensuring agreements are negotiated, executed, and managed in ways that protect the company, enable business objectives, and support supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the global Contracts team, translating Procurement strategies into effective supplier agreements, contract governance, and business outcomes across Direct, Indirect, and Logistics procurement.
  • Refine the strategy, operating model, and priorities for HP's global Contracts function.
  • Lead the resolution of complex contractual negotiations, disputes, and escalations involving significant business, financial, supply continuity, or regulatory risk.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of contracting strategies and effective management of contractual obligations.
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, and business leaders to resolve complex contractual issues and enable successful execution of Procurement strategies.
  • Strengthen contracting capabilities across Procurement by advancing standards, improving processes, and driving adoption of AI, automation, and other digital tools.
  • Lead team planning, talent development, and capability building to maintain a high-performing global team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Juris Doctor (JD), MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supplier contracting, contract management, or related disciplines.
  • Deep expertise in supplier contracting, contract lifecycle management, and risk management.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to balance legal, operational, financial, and business considerations in decision-making.
  • Executive presence and the ability to achieve alignment with stakeholders.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives, including process improvement, standardization, and digital transformation programs.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a global technology or manufacturing business.
  • Experience working across multiple regions and cultures in a global environment.
  • Experience leading senior professionals.
  • Experience developing organizational capability through talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional

opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United

States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related

knowledge, skills, and experience.
