Job Title:
Senior Manager – Human Resources
Job responsibilities:
Partnering with management in negotiations with trade unions on matters relating to wages, benefits, working conditions, productivity, discipline, employee welfare, and other employment-related issues.
Support management in collective bargaining and settlement negotiations, including preparation of negotiation strategies, proposals, data and briefing notes.
Monitor the industrial-relations climate and proactively identify potential areas of conflict or unrest.
Establish and manage an effective grievance-redressal mechanism.
Investigate and resolve employee grievances in a timely, fair and transparent manner.
Handle sensitive employee-relations matters, interpersonal conflicts and workplace disputes.
Monitor effective management of welfare facilities such as Canteen and food services, Transportation, Medical and occupational health facilities etc.,
Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment laws, rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
Monitor statutory registers, returns, notices, licenses and other labour-related documentation.
Manage disciplinary processes in accordance with Company policies, standing orders/service rules and applicable law.
Advise management on disciplinary cases, domestic enquiries, charge sheets, show-cause notices and related processes.
Develop effective communication channels between management and employees.
Organize employee meetings, welfare forums, town halls, awareness programmes and other engagement initiatives.
Promote a culture of mutual respect, transparency, discipline and cooperation.
Communicate Company policies, business priorities, welfare initiatives and changes in employment practices effectively to employees.
Support management in maintaining employee morale during organizational, operational or business changes.
Partner with plant/business leadership to improve workforce productivity, discipline, attendance and employee engagement.
Track and analyze key employee-relations and welfare metrics, including Absenteeism, Attrition, Overtime, Grievances, Disciplinary cases
Qualifications:
MBA/ MSW with 10–15 years of relevant experience in HR/Personnel/Industrial Relations
Proficiency in Kannada is preferable.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
