Senior Legal Program Manager
Datadog is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our Legal Operations subgroup. In this role you’ll work closely with individuals across the organization in support of various legal-related matters, with a primary focus on supporting the scalability of the global legal team. The Legal team supports Datadog's rapid growth by providing a wide range of legal services across a highly dynamic technology company, from driving new business via contracts and compliance efforts, to protecting Datadog's intellectual property. Datadog's Legal team collaborates with virtually every team across the organization, from engineering to product to Marketing.

What You’ll Do:
- Partner with technical teams to roll out solutions and resolve issues flagged by the legal team
- Run point on project management for major initiatives e.g. AI enablement, redlining tool implementation, etc.
- Design, build, and maintain the technical architecture - workflow automations, system integrations, and data pipelines that connect tools
- Scope and build internal tools and integrations (APIs, webhooks, scripts) that connect legal systems to each other and to company-wide platforms working directly with Business Systems and Sales Systems
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance to analysts, help set priorities, review their configuration and automation work for quality and consistency, and coach them on systems-building skills
- Serve as the technical escalation point
- Enforce SOPs and reduce manual handling
- Continuously cross-train across to operate as a flexible member of a shared services model, enabling coverage, resource-sharing, and consistent process standards
Who You Are:
- An experienced legal program manager with 8-10+ years of contract, program, or project management experience (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree), including some experience directing or coordinating the work of analysts
- Familiar with program management tools and techniques including possessing the skills of breaking large efforts into clear tasks, building roadmaps, assigning ownership and timelines, and reporting on progress
- Passionate about exploring technology
- Able to move forward in times of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge
- An effective communicator and detail-oriented
- Someone with high integrity and strong judgment
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment where you’ll work on multiple projects at the same time, while meeting tight deadlines
