Senior Financial Analyst
At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarter-end reporting packages in support of audit committee deliverables and the earnings close process.

- Perform exception reporting and data quality reviews; investigate and prepare corrections and reclass entries as needed.
- Participate in UAT for system enhancements and new releases across SAP, CPM (Pricebook), Incorta, and NGA product reporting — documenting test cases, logging issues, and validating fixes.
- Prepare product-level reclass and allocation correction files to maintain reporting integrity.
- Support the integration of acquired companies, including master data setup (customer and product) and conversion of acquired order data into Cadence reporting processes.
- Partner with quote-to-cash finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve reporting discrepancies and support new business model requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within the technology industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel — comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data manipulation, and building structured workbooks
- Hands-on experience with SAP; familiarity with finance data extraction and reporting workflows.
- Experience participating in or supporting UAT cycles for financial systems (SAP, CPM/Pricebook, Incorta, or NGA a strong plus).
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets.
- Clear and effective communicator — able to translate data findings for both finance and non-finance audiences across levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under tight quarter-end deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of revenue accounting principles (ASC 606 / software revenue recognition concepts a plus).
- Familiarity with Incorta, NGA product reporting, or CPM/Pricebook platforms.
- CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.
- Experience supporting acquisition integrations from a finance reporting perspective.
