Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist III
The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a Journeyman Business and Financial Operations Specialist III in support of a program whose initiative is aimed at combating evolving and emerging threats, supporting related exploitation and replication activities, and advancing operational rehearsal, exercise, wargaming, and counter system development. Additionally, we are focusing on integration and experimentation, including Modeling and Simulation.

Responsibilities:
Supports critical mission operations by applying standard practices and theories of business, financial, and analytical principles to support modeling and simulation systems engineering efforts. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy of financial and operational data, verify alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, and track project milestones, funding burn rates, and supply chain lead times in support of multi-domain operations and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation environments.
Business and Financial Operations
Apply standard practices and theories of business, financial, and analytical principles to support mission-critical operations
Ensure accuracy of financial or operational data and verify alignment with the FAR
Track project milestones, funding burn rates, and supply chain lead times
Prepare and deliver progress, status, and management reports including cost, schedule, accomplishments, risks, and impediments
Prepare and process purchase orders for equipment, parts, and technical services
Identify potential vendors and evaluate products based on price, quality, and delivery speed
Compare quotes and determine price reasonableness for mission-critical supplies
Resolve discrepancies in delivery, quality, or invoicing with commercial suppliers
Ensure all purchases adhere to the FAR and local unit policies
Acquire needed materials, supplies, services, and leased services, facilities or equipment including commercial and tactical hardware, software, test equipment, cabling/connectors, and license/maintenance agreements
Assist in preparing budget estimates and ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
Analyze budgeting and accounting reports
Monitor expenditures and track funding obligations across multiple appropriation types
Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle activities
Prepare documentation for financial reviews and audits
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, statistic, operations research, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
3 Years relevant experience
5 years additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
Active TS/SCI clearance
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with government financial management systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Maintain compliance with DOD cybersecurity policies and DoDM 8140.03 requirements
Preferred:
Master's degree in related field
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
Experience with eCRAFT Enterprise system
Experience supporting modeling and simulation or systems engineering programs
Knowledge of Army Regulation 5-11 "Management of Army Modeling and Simulation"
Experience with MIRARS (Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting System)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
