What You Will Do

  • Support preparedness planning and implementation of standard processes associated with Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVA), Incident Response Planning (IRP) and other enterprise resilience processes at the business, Regional and/or site level.

  • Support continuity efforts with implementation of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

  • Coordinate incident monitoring, situational assessments, and response actions (i.e. natural hazards, geopolitical events, and site‑level disruptions).

  • Engage in site-, regional-, and business-level crisis management activations and incident response coordination.

  • Lead or support exercises and tabletops to validate plans and identify gaps.

  • Develop and distribute training and awareness materials in various formats.

  • Conduct and support after‑action reviews to help drive improvement activities.

  • Provide coordination and support for governance reviews and status reporting.

  • Monitor and analyze intelligence inputs for situational awareness and emerging threats.

  • Launch, test, and train site teams in mass notification capabilities to ensure alignment with business and location needs.

  • Participate in audits and assessments, including developing and supporting corrective actions.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

  • Experience in in emergency management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Public Administration, or related field.


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Comfortable operating in a high‑energy, high‑volume, rapidly changing environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset applied to resilience and continuity efforts.

  • Strong coordination skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Public Administration, or similar field.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess trends, determine severity, and support decision-making.

  • Effective communication skills to address sensitive questions or issues.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Everbridge Tool Suite (or equivalent).

  • Foundational knowledge of business continuity methodologies, incident management frameworks, or ISO 22301 (not required but beneficial).

  • Experience working in a corporate, manufacturing, or technology‑driven environment.

  • Ability to synthesize information and support decision‑making under time‑sensitive conditions.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
