Role Overview:

BBN’s Collaborative Administration Group, called POST (Professional Office Support Team) has an opening for a Full time Administrative Associate who will provide administrative support for professional, technical and engineering co-workers at various levels. This is an on-site role, located in Middletown, Rhode Island.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage reception, phone lines, visitors, mail/packages, and front-desk security.
  • Provide administrative support across RTX BBN locations and teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, calendars, catering, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, reimbursements, and related policies.
  • Order and maintain office, kitchen, and facility supplies and inventory.
  • Support export documentation, records management, and company repositories.
  • Coordinate facility vendors, maintenance, conference rooms, and office equipment.
  • Serve as Government Property Coordinator, managing inventories, tracking, reporting, and audits.
  • Support EHS initiatives, process improvements, and other business needs.
  • Travel to BBN, RTX, customer, or partner locations as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Physical requirements include ability to lift, carry or move 27lbs on own. Ability to push, pull, lift for office/conference set ups.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
