Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to join our team at Cox Automotive Fleet. In this position, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide best-in-class service to our customers by handling major events, campaigns, and maintaining the flow of open events.

What You’ll Do
You will work with drivers, customers and service providers to handle large-scale maintenance and repairs. You will:
Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
Who You Are
You’re a skilled multitasker and problem-solver who is eager to make an impact. Here’s what else we’re looking for:
High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field
At least 1 year of experience in previous role with Cox Fleet as a Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
Great communication skills by phone, email and in person.
Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects.
