Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management (Level 3) / Senior Principal Project Management (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Flight Operations organization. This position will be located at Palmdale, CA or Edwards AFB, California.
Serve as a direct product integrator and advisor to the Director of Flight Operations – Restricted Programs, consolidating inputs across operations, maintenance, safety, training, and program management. The Product Integrator will provide dedicated integration across a dynamic, classified, and safety-critical portfolio and will work closely with functional organizations and peer operating organizations.
The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated, self-directed integrator and independent thinker, able to operate with limited guidance in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly classified environment. They must be comfortable independently synthesizing incomplete or competing inputs, identifying execution risks and gaps, developing practical solutions, and driving actions to closure.
10% travel.
This role may be filled as a Level 3 or Level 4 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications – Level 3:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional and/or military experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related professional and/or military experience; OR 9 years of related professional and/or military experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Related experience must be in one or more of the following areas: project or program management, project integration, flight operations, aircraft maintenance or sustainment, mission assurance, quality assurance, operations management, or a closely related aerospace or defense discipline; or industrial engineering experience. which demonstrates an ability to organize workflow.
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple workstreams across at least three of the following areas: workforce or resource planning; safety; quality, compliance, or corrective action; metrics and leadership reporting; schedule, risk, issue, or opportunity management; and proposal or resource analysis.
- Experience developing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, status reports, action tracking, and data-driven recommendations for management or program leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across organizational boundaries, resolve competing priorities, communicate complex operational information clearly, and drive assigned actions to closure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance with the ability to maintain that clearance.
- Must have the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access within 365 days from submission. Continued eligibility for required access is a condition of employment.

- Related experience must be in one or more of the following areas: project or program management, project integration, flight operations, aircraft maintenance or sustainment, mission assurance, quality assurance, operations management, or a closely related aerospace or defense discipline; or industrial engineering experience. which demonstrates an ability to organize workflow.
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple workstreams across at least three of the following areas: workforce or resource planning; training or readiness; safety; quality, compliance, or corrective action; aircraft maintenance, logistics, or product support; metrics and leadership reporting; schedule, risk, issue, or opportunity management; and proposal, estimating, or resource analysis.
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple workstreams across at least three of the following areas: workforce or resource planning; safety; quality, compliance, or corrective action; metrics and leadership reporting; schedule, risk, issue, or opportunity management; and proposal or resource analysis.
- Experience developing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, status reports, action tracking, and data-driven recommendations for management or program leadership.
- Experience developing or validating staffing plans, resource estimates, schedules, or historical performance data in support of program planning, proposals, Basis of Estimates, or comparable resource-justification activities.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across organizational boundaries, resolve competing priorities, communicate complex operational information clearly, and drive assigned actions to closure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance with the ability to maintain that clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing or maintaining executive-level performance metrics, operational dashboards, classified reports, or organizational staffing products.
- Experience with collaboration, workflow, data-management, or visualization tools such as SharePoint or comparable enterprise applications.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
- Current Special Program access.
