Requirements, Configuration & Documentation Engineer
The Opportunity:
Supports day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related. Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees.
You Have:
- 6+ years of experience decompose and document requirements in DOORS
- Ability to relate requirements to test cases and to document interfaces
- Ability to establish and enforce configuration management and change-management processes for requirements, architecture, software, interfaces, test artifacts and software releases
- Ability to support architecture and software release as well as test documentation
- Ability to maintain reproducible, evidence-based synchronization of documentation and software releases
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
Nice If You Have:
- Ability to relate requirements to test cases and to relate interface definitions to available MSBE or SysML models
- Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance the productivity, readability and availability of system and operational documentation
- Ability to support USG documentation audits and RMF/ATO, configuration audits and engineering reviews
- Experience supporting multi-security-level or cross-domain documentation or configuration environments
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
