Department Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to support the Reliability and P25 compliance laboratories in Plantation, FL. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the execution of reliability engineering tasks and ensuring the technical quality of work performed within the labs. This role requires a strong understanding of various systems, software, and hardware devices, as well as excellent technical problem-solving skills. The Reliability Engineer will collaborate with other departments to implement effective technical solutions and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through rigorous testing and compliance standards.The responsibilities include technical execution in reliability engineering, where you will play a pivotal role in the application of reliability techniques and processes to optimize testing based on product capabilities. This includes performing multi-technology testing applications (wireless, RF, batteries, etc.) during the execution of Enhanced Advanced Life Testing (eALT). You will be responsible for designing detailed eALT test plans and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver superior testing solutions. Job Description
Responsibilities
Test Planning and Oversight
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all testing requirements, ensuring alignment with the lab's capabilities.
Generate Design Certification Test matrices and Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) plans based on product requirements.
Develop and implement eALT test plans tailored to product specifications.
Conduct test engineering activities related to system verifications and readiness.
Ensure all data is recorded and documented correct requirements.
Interface with laboratory customers to define test plans and quality requirements.
Act as an internal advocate for customers to operations and engineering on Quality and reliability-related issues and decisions.
Quality and Reliability Leadership
Lead the Reliability Center of Excellence across global design centers (Penang, Schaumburg, and MIL).
Identify quality risks during reliability testing and proactively assist in developing and driving mitigation/closure plans.
Design and implement quality control processes, procedures, tools, and statistical techniques.
Define the technical direction for eALT across product portfolios and implement strategic solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective Reliability and eALT testing solutions.
Participate in global eALT technical activities.
Maintain a strong understanding of hardware architectures and manufacturing
Demonstrated competency with Analysis tools (e.g. Statistical)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate with internal and external business/technical teams.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Highly organized, structured, and process oriented; team building skills a plus.
Able to simplify a complex situation and provide updates accordingly.
DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology background required; certified Black Belt preferred.
5+ years Product development experience, preferably with experience in Hardware Development, Telecommunications, Radio Communications, or Aerospace/Defense preferred.

Target Base Salary Range: $96,500 - $123,000 USD

Basic Requirements
