Readiness & Security Inspections Team Lead
The Opportunity:
USCG is seeking a highly skilled and certified professional to join CACI as a Team Lead for the RSI (Readiness and Security Inspections) Team. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA), Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI), and other DOD cyber-based inspections. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring DOD sites for changes in cyber inspection schedules, policy, procedures, and methodologies that may impact the USCG.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as an SME for CORA, CCRI, and other DOD cyber-based inspections.
• Monitor relevant DOD sites for changes and updates that could impact the USCG.
• Assist in managing, supporting, and coordinating all aspects of DoD-directed CCRI and CCORI audits.
• Provide situational reports on the progress of CCRI remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with scheduled sites to obtain and verify the accuracy of scoping information required for Site Assist Visit (SAV) inspections.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, scheduling, notification, and hosting of RSI-related briefings, weekly meetings, and ad-hoc meetings.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, logistics, and deployment of the Site Assist Visit team.
• Track SAV results, remediation actions, and status updates.
• Manage re-evaluation requests from scheduled sites and system owners, scheduling appropriate Reviewers.
• Track post-CCRI and post-CORA findings, coordinate with responsible POCs for status updates, and validate remediation.
• Ensure all necessary ACAS Vulnerability and (dot) Audit scans for pre-inspection and post-inspection are scheduled, completed, and verified for accuracy.
• Provide leadership reporting for situational awareness and decision-making.
• Serve as a Traditional Security and Windows Systems Reviewer for SAV engagements and re-evaluations as needed.
• Evaluate systems using DoD IA security controls, based on DoD IA 8500.01/2, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4, and CNSSI 1253, as well as other DoD security control categorization and control processes.
• Manage a team of RSI specialists. Includes personnel development, quarterly personnel assessments, bi-monthly timekeeping tasks, and oversight of team’s daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance
Relevant Years of Experience: 7+
Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of relevant experience
Certifications:
• IAT II or IAT III
• CSSP AU (CEH, CySA+, CISA, Cloud+, CHFI)
• DOD Reviewer qualification standard
Experience with CCRIs and/or other technical Cyber compliance inspections.
Experience with DISA STIG Toolset & SCAP.
Technical understanding and use of STIGs.
Working experience of the DoD IAVM and DHS ISVM Programs.
