The Chief of Staff (CoS) is responsible for driving the strategic priorities of the PS Marketing leadership team and its SVP. The CoS helps ensure that PS Marketing stays operationally aligned and focused on the right actions, communicates clearly, and executes with timeliness and efficiency. The CoS will effectively scale the capacity of the SVP by coordinating with the leadership team on priorities and collaborating with the SVP on the most urgent and important initiatives. Additionally, the CoS will work in collaboration with Chiefs of Staff from across the organization to ensure that PS Marketing is meeting required goals, cadence, and deadlines for HP, Personal Systems, and the Executive leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Engage with members of the PS Marketing leadership team to ensure alignment on top requirements and priorities of the SVP
Help manage the PS Marketing operation and business cadence, including the leadership meeting governance structure
Work in tandem with the EA to manage the SVP's calendar, events, and travel
Drive the creation of presentations and content for SVP engagements, keynotes, and executive briefings
Help the leadership team deliver and exceed performance expectations by leading staff meetings
Collaborate with other EAs and Chiefs of Staff across the Business Unit and Company to help identify and resolve issues quickly
Manage non exempt and exempt individual contributors, with accountability for the results of a major program in terms of cost, direction, and people management
Lead executive recruitment efforts and support the development of direct staff members
Understand scope, timing, ownership, and quality requirements for key priorities to help ensure owners deliver outstanding work
Provide operational leadership and project management for targeted projects led directly by the SVP
Own narrative consistency across executive communications, ensuring PS Marketing's story is coherent across Thought Leadership, brand, and portfolio moments
Support executive communications, analyst relations, and social media activities on behalf of the SVP

Ability and interest in working with a global team across time zones, both in person and virtually
Exceptional interpersonal skills and confidence to engage with the most senior leaders in the company
Strategic thinker with a mindset of innovation and intellectual curiosity
Education and Experience
Four year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
Typically has 8+ years of work experience, preferably in marketing, strategy, planning, operations, product management, program management, or a related field

Salary:
The Salary range for this role is $137,000 to $160,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
