As a Project Coordinator I, you will support the execution of projects by coordinating project activities, resources, and schedules. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project tasks, schedules, and resources.

  • Assist in breaking down projects into actionable tasks and setting timeframes.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution.

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.

  • Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.

  • Prepare project documentation, plans, and status reports.

  • Support budget preparation and financial reporting.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Basic MS Office Skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills.
  • Successful Candidates will demonstrate:

    • Familiarity with program execution.
    • Results driven regardless the task.
    • Self-motivated, and driven for more.
    • Soft skills, business sense.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.

  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior Experience with:

    • Development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned.

    • Data entry into Project Management (PM) Systems.

    • Collaborating with internal Leadership, vendors, suppliers, other  stakeholders, and internal teams, such as  Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Tech Leads, and Project Administrators (PAs) to ensure program activities will accomplish objectives.

    • Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments.

    • Monitoring project progress against baseline schedule and facilitating process improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.

  • Strong hand/finger dexterity for typing and document handling.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $29.03 - $39.92. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
