The Program Quality Senior Analyst / Patriot Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support US and/or foreign programs within the Global Patriot portfolio onsite at our Andover, MA location.

Responsibilities include promoting and executing with a strong quality mindset, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. This individual will assist in implementation of Global Patriot strategic quality improvements across contracts.

You will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Program Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Operations, and the Quality team. This role will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers.  You will primarily support proactive engagements across our factories and suppliers that support the Global Patriot portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk. 

What you will do:

  • Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Proactively review program contract requirements to meet and influence customer needs.
  • Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
  • Must have the ability to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, as it is vital to the success of this role.
  • Responsible for quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality.
  • Responsible for executing tactical Mission Assurance plans that will closely affect the programs’ implementation and influence.
  • Responsible for improving processes or systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and information is typically difficult to obtain.
  • Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) for program related issues to ensure extensive RCCA.
  • Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as applicable.
  • Intermittent travel is possible.
     

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
    • Relevant experience is working in quality, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment and supporting live issue resolution (e.g. establishing priorities).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
     

Qualifications we prefer:

  • STEM degree
  • Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
  • Working experience with international parties, providing technical program support for Raytheon program managers and their customers.
  • Knowledge of tracking performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value). 
  • Knowledge of Risk & Opportunity management.
  • Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supplier engineering, supply chain, or operations.
  • Hands-on experience in solving both business and technical problems.
  • Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Meaningful leader that exhibits presence and influence.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and networking skills to work with management and customers.

This role is designated as onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of War, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
