As a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 2 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. 

    

In this job, you will:

  • Lead Schedule Development & Strategy: Serve as the technical advisor for project schedules from inception to closeout, including creating conceptual "what-if" schedules for large, complex, multi-year facilities projects

  • Create & Maintain Baseline Schedules: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules by mapping out project relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints

  • Perform Progress & Data Analysis: Run regular critical path analyses and prepare ad-hoc reports and schedule updates as requested by management

  • Manage Quality Control (QA/QC): Collect accurate, timely schedule updates from the project team and perform thorough QA/QC reviews on all received data

  • Monitor Field Progress: Visit construction sites

  • Facilitate Stakeholder Communication: Partner closely with Facilities Project Leads, contractors, and all project stakeholders to resolve scheduling issues and align on progress during weekly status meetings

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus 3 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree from an accredited university plus 1 year of relevant experience

  • Experience developing facilities planning, design, and construction schedules

  • Experience working with Microsoft Project and advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Data and/or financial analysis experience

 Preferred Qualifications:     

  • Advanced experience in facilities and construction

  • Proficiency with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create tracking tools and charts for executive and business unit reviews

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
