Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program and Planning Scheduling Analyst – Level 4, to join our team in Chandler AZ.

This individual will report to Scheduling Management and will develop and maintain a detailed schedule for multiple programs, proposals and contracts.  In this role, the incumbent will collaborate and make recommendations to solve problems, create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership and will interface with multiple functional teams, suppliers, and program management to meet execution and strategic goals.

In this job, you will:

  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives (inclusive of resource and cost-loading) and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated. Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: 
    • DCMA 14-point/DECM Metrics
    • IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
    • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance
    • Critical Path Analysis
    • Perform Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)
    • Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis
    • Performs monthly status and reporting cycles
    • Subcontractor schedule integration
    • Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
    • Conducts Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional program office and business management teams to ensure successful achievement of program and organizational goals. Inclusive, but not limited to:
    • Work with CAMs individually and in groups to analyze and potentially resolve schedule impacts.
    • Presents findings, impacts, and recommendations to program management.
    • Present schedule data to internal and external customers.
    • Work with Finance team to ensure accurate cost and schedule integration.
    • Review and provide feedback on subcontractor schedules. Integrate schedule data while maintaining vertical traceability.
  • Generate schedule-related reports for internal and external customers. Inclusive, but not limited to:
    • Critical Path Charts
    • CEI/BEI Metrics
    • Headcount Profiles
    • CDRL/SDRL Submission
  • Provide informal training to program management, CAMs, business operations, and fellow scheduling personnel regarding scheduling compliance and best practices.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Seek an understanding of the program's larger mission and how that aligns to the IMS and program performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in Schedule Management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with running Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
  • Experience with resource loaded schedules.
  • Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs with varying contract types.
  • Proficient with scheduling software (to include advanced experience in MS Project).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert in MS Project.
  • Experience with Structured Solutions (SSI) Tools for MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with subcontract schedule management.
  • Active US Government security clearance.

  • Leadership qualities with the ability to determine direction and a compliant path forward in dynamic environments, based on Scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and developing a team to achieve shared goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with peers.

Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
