Raytheon UK has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Manager to join our Glenrothes team.

As CCA Production Manager, you will report into the CCA & Inventory Manager and will be responsible for the management of the Circuit Card Assembly area team.

You will have responsibility for safety,  management, training and development  to meet production quality and output targets. The role involves a significant requirement for effectively communication with manufacturing leadership teams.

You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing safety standards within a manufacturing area to support site safety targets.
  • Responsible for delivery and reporting of Circuit Card Assembly manufacturing targets. This will include making decisions in avoiding or minimising interruption to Programs. 
  • Manage any site equipment breakdowns or line stop events with the relevant support teams.
  • Identifying and co-ordination of training for all staff.
  • Manufacturing budget and financial reporting responsibility for CCA content
  • Communication with program and productions teams is robust, and risks are identified, communicated and mitigated with the key stakeholders
  • Continuous process improvement, utilising RTX (CORE) philosophy as appropriate. Implement change and contribute in SQCDP improvements.
     

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High performance manager and self- starter
  • Effective  communicator across all levels of the business
  • Demonstrated track record on quality improvements and people development
  • HNC/HND in Management OR a senior supervisory or management position in a complex operation
  • EVMS Financial awareness/knowledge
     

Desirable Skills and Experience: 

  • Electronics production experience – emphasis on Circuit Card Assembly
  • Experience of multi-shift operations
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Accounting, and demonstrated experience in an Earned Value culture, in a business >£5M p.a
  • EVMS Level 2 qualified
