Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist supporting the Advanced Land Sensors Operating Unit – GATOR Production Team, with experiences in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing). This position is located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist responsibilities will encompass:
- Management of on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule
- Management of material budgets for contract requirements. Supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
- Accurate reporting and forecasting of material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
- Execution of duties as CAM to support program PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities
- Identification and management of program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements
- Analysis of material lead times and identification critical path procurements
- Monitoring and addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues
- Supporting program proposal activities (BOE’s creation, CBOM review, etc)
- Supporting the development of supply chain strategies – including supplier development and supplier risk management, which may include development of secondary sources
- Coordination of program activities between various supply chain management functions including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers, etc

Basic Qualifications Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of supply chain and/or business management experience or master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of supply chain and/or business management experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Program execution experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
- US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Shop order launch experience
- Development/IRAD/CRAD program execution experience
- Software procurement experience
- Experience with ZRPIs, BOEs, and QUEST runs
- Non-MRP procurement experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with proposals
- Material CAM experience
