Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Level 3 Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialists to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our San Diego, CA location supporting the F-35 CNI Programs.

What you'll get to do:
Develop supply chain strategy and lead activities for GSC in all phases of planning and execution
Manage suppliers on cost, schedule, quality, and performance
Assess material shortages, flag time-critical purchases, and drive acceleration
Manage, report, and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
Maintain delivery performance metrics
Coordinate cross-functionally, directs communication, coordinates with Suppliers, and integrates efforts across all GSC functions
Align project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical community
Brief the GSCPM, Program Management, and Operations on the status, Risk & Opportunities, and issues affecting GSC program performance
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Program/Project Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field. We will consider 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Knowledge/experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
Proficient excel and analytical skills
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience and certification
Experience with Federal and Defense Contracting requirements including FAR/DFARS
Experience with Supply Chain metrics, and driving performance to targets
Demonstrated ability to influence team members, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
