Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (AS) is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Organizational Effectiveness Representative to join the AS Human Resources Organization Effectiveness (OE) team. This position will be based in Melbourne, FL. In this role, you will help increase the effectiveness of current leadership development solutions and play a role in the design of new leadership development content. You will act as a strategic consultant and facilitator, engaging with front line leaders and senior executives to help them perform at their best, manage and develop their teams, and lead their team to deliver business results. This position blends strategic advisory work with hands-on facilitation and implementation, ensuring solutions are leader-owned, business-aligned, and sustainable.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery and facilitation of leadership programs to include: live in-person and virtual presentations, team development, individual and group coaching, and leadership forums
  • Co-lead the design and delivery of programs and learning experiences focused on building competence across the broader Aeronautics Systems Sector.
  • Leverage the instructional design (ISD) process to conduct needs assessments, develop learning objectives, design content, and measure effectiveness of leadership development programs
  • Identify and implement strategies to leverage technology to achieve more engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on organization effectiveness, team dynamics, and change leadership.
  • Maintain current knowledge of leadership development trends, theories, thought leaders, and techniques, and adapt these frameworks into existing programs or other learning solutions.

This posiiton may be filled at a Principal or Senior Principal level.

 

Basic Qualifications Principal OE Consultant:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience must be a combination of organization development, organizational effectiveness, HR in a large, complex professional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting with leaders on organization and team effectiveness topics, including building strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Experience in the development of virtual, classroom, and blended learning experiences, adult learning methodologies, and leadership development principles
  • Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to design and lead engaging sessions for leaders and teams that result in decisions, commitments, and behavior changes.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities and clients across levels and functions.
  • Strong organization and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience creating professional and impactful PowerPoint presentations, communications, and resources for a variety of stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience must be a combination of organization development, organizational effectiveness, OR HR in a large, complex professional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting with leaders on organization and team effectiveness topics, including building strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Experience in the development of virtual, classroom, and blended learning experiences, adult learning methodologies, and leadership development principles
  • Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to design and lead engaging sessions for leaders and teams that result in decisions, commitments, and behavior changes.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities and clients across levels and functions.
  • Strong organization and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience creating professional and impactful PowerPoint presentations, communications, and resources for a variety of stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organization Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Learning & Development, or related discipline.
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of learning programs in a corporate learning/training organization utilizing multiple delivery modalities
  • Experience in aerospace and defense and/or manufacturing industry
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
