Come join our dynamic team of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) professionals! Raytheon has an opportunity for an energetic, motivated, and self-directed Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional to support our ongoing sustainability, compliance, and risk reduction efforts at the Andover, MA site. This complex manufacturing site offers the EHS professional an opportunity to work with manufacturing and support teams to foster employee engagement, and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EH&S program.
What You Will Do
Recognize, evaluate, and control hazardous workplace conditions.
Take proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.
Work with subject matter experts to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EHS requirements.
Investigate, analyze, and interpret data from injuries and near-misses ensuring corrective actions are completed on time, and all necessary documentation is in place.
Interact with employees and promote relationships, learn the tasks employees perform and be known as a resource to the employees at the site.
Work toward building partnerships and influencing across assigned areas to provide actionable improvement programs.
Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Must be willing and able to respond to emergencies after hours as needed on an infrequent basis.
This position requires limited travel for participation in company seminars, EHS audits and training opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience in EH&S
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in laboratory safety or industrial hygiene
Familiarity with engineering or research and development environments
Emergency response experience (working with team to respond to and help troubleshoot alarms)
Experience in managing EH&S issues in a union work environment.
Previous experience working at an OSHA VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) site.
Professional Certification in the EHS field (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.).
Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
