Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will be a part of complex acquisition activities in a collaborative environment as part of our Land and Air Defense procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall activities to purchase material supporting the Raytheon business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers and functional areas to support a broad portfolio of programs across Raytheon.

What You Will Do:

Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
Review Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) documents and work with other functional organizations to develop and revise the documents, when needed
Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs (requests for quote/requests for proposal)
Review quotes/proposals and analyze results
Plan negotiation strategies and lead the negotiations
Address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements by collaborating with cross-functional program contacts
Gather and file required documentation for purchase orders per internal procedures
Perform routine post-award management activities
Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Commodity Performance Leads (CPLs)
Able to support travel (up to 25%)


Qualifications you Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Previous procurement experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in Government procurement
SAP experience
Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
