Principal Advisor to the Commander of Intel Center of Excellence
We are currently seeking a Principal Advisor to the Commander of the Intelligence Center of Excellence, the Department of Army G2, and the Secretary of the Army ISR Task Force for a variety of strategic planning and organizational structure activities: providing technical expertise and historical perspective across Force Modernization portfolios. Supports special studies and perform system assessments of all related technologies to identify strategic and long-term opportunities. Supports the development of strategic, business, and program plans to further Intelligence Transformation objectives.
Serves as the primary integrator between DAMI‑ST, Army G‑2, and USAICoE entities, advising directors on DOTMLPF‑P integration, force modernization processes, intelligence doctrine, and training modernization. Participates in USAICoE Battle Rhythm events, shapes the agenda and content for the annual Intel Senior Leader Conference, and facilitates the MI Pre‑Command Course (MIPCC). Responsibilities include assessing intelligence capability performance during major exercises such as Ivy Mass, identifying CDS, data flow, and tool gaps at brigade and below, and translating operational observations into modernization recommendations. Contributes to working groups on GEOINT standards, EW workflows, interoperability, and modernization initiatives across AIDP, TITAN, NGC2, and MDC. His role ensures future commanders and formations
Functional Duties:
- USAICoE CG, I-FCD, and I-TID/TLLM advisor to directors focused on DOTMLPF-P integration TIC assessor/observer requirements, and the Cdr Vis/Decision Board BR process
- Army Intelligence Force Modernization Processes synchronization, recommendations and inputs
- AISE strategy and strategic operations planning alignment
- LNO between DAMI-ST / G-2 and FHAZ entities; primary facilitator for the MI Pre-Command Course (MIPCC)
- Primary OCR for the annual USAICOE Intel Snr Ldr Conference.
- Support TITAN, AIDP, NGC2, and MDC COIs.
LNO Priorities of work
- Deliberate Transformation and Concept-based Transformation
- MI 2040 concept, and ICoE transformation efforts
- Liaison between ICOE, ICDID and the ISR TF for Deliberate and Concept-based Transformation
Specific Areas of Concentration:
- Inform and Advise C2 Fix
- WHC G2 readiness/transformation gaps visualization
- Support/facilitate requirements writing for AIDP, TITAN, TLS
- Support/facilitate requirements writing for post TiC material solutions, ensuring cross DOTMLPF-P cross examination
- Inform and Advise FORSCOM G2 with ARSTRUC through 2030
- Building out V Corps IEW Bn and Standard Division IEW Bns
- Inform and Advise FFID stand up and execution
- Examine Capabilities and Capacity of 2 Shops at echelon IAW 2030 concept to inform DOTMLPF-P changes/updates.
- Inform and help synchronization efforts for the near-term POM cycle ensuring examination across DOTMLPF-P
- Execute “IHL” of DOTMLPF-P cross walk for items entering the next POM cycle for Deliberate Transformation
- Support with designing MI 2040
Compensation Details:
$200,000
