Reporting directly to the Inventory Control Manager, this position involves ensuring the monitoring, reporting and timely processing (managing the shipment) of caterpillar 0R core piece parts, minor entitlements, for return to Finning. This position is also responsible for investigating and reporting on aging minor entitlements as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions.Job Description:
- Coordinate, monitor, and analyze all core related transactions and core entitlements to ensure timely return of cores to Finning for credit
- Creating loads of core parts to be returned to Finning
- Communicating and coordinating with various departments within OEM, including paint & package as well as shipping for all core returns
- Responsible for compiling and assigning day to day tasks for the 0R Material Handlers to ensure timely return of all cores to Finning
- Monitoring the various 0R tracking reports as well as providing status reports to management of all outstanding core returns
- Updating 0R core reports on a daily basis to track outstanding core values, lines completed, and general progress with core returns
- Investigating and rectifying discrepancies between physical parts and their corresponding paperwork to ensure accuracy of returns. Responsible for CAT Core Discrepancy report review of all returned inventory and coordinating with departments to review.
- Processing parts returns and non-conforming returns (NCR) transactions/paperwork in a timely manner.
- Responsible to ensure the successful return of all 0R Cores to Finning to achieve maximum credits
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years administration experience or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in materials management in a manufacturing environment or equivalent would be an asset
- Degree or related work experience in inventory would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills including process and procedures documentation. Ability to coach and guide others
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Organization and analytical skills
- A team player with the ability to work with a variety of people and foster collaboration
- Willingness to make suggestions and recommendations for improvement
- Knowledge of parts and purchasing policies and procedures
- Intermediate level computer knowledge – Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

This position is a Monday to Friday role based out of our OEM Remanufacturing facility
