The Customer Service Representative supports customers by providing information about products and services, addressing account inquiries and complaints, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve customer needs. This role researches and consolidates information, supports shipment tracking and expediting activities, and analyzes customer interactions and service trends to identify opportunities for improved customer support and training.
What You Will Do
Respond to customer inquiries received by telephone or electronically, provide information about products and services, address account questions and complaints, and provide follow-up on customer requests.
Use organization and product knowledge to address more difficult customer inquiries and provide appropriate follow-up.
Develop documentation used to resolve difficult customer issues, requests, and complaints.
Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel when additional support is required.
Research published materials and secondary sources to identify information that can be recommended to customers to address their questions and requests.
Collect and consolidate information from customer interactions and transactions and analyze customer service trends to support future training and customer service improvements.
Coordinate with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, and other personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
Promote applicable products or services to support business targets, as required.
Provide after-sales support for applicable client contracts, as required.
Communicate effectively in English with customers and internal stakeholders through telephone, in-person interactions, reports, and email.
Work either first shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:48 p.m.) or second shift (3:10 p.m. – 11:10 p.m.), based on business needs.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated English proficiency in verbal and written business communications.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience using SAP.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IF statements, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
